Returns & Refunds Policy

Richter’s Market Co.

At Richter’s Market Co., we work closely with local farmers, food producers, and artisans to deliver fresh, high-quality products to your door. Because many of our products are perishable or handmade, our returns and refunds policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful of both our customers and our vendors.

Perishable Items (Food & Fresh Goods)

Due to food safety regulations, perishable items are final sale and cannot be returned.

However, if you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged
  • Spoiled
  • Incorrect
  • Missing from your order

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will review the concern and, where appropriate, offer a refund, credit, or replacement.

Non-Perishable & Handmade Items

Non-perishable and handmade items may be eligible for a return or refund if:

  • The item arrives damaged or defective
  • The item received is incorrect

Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition where applicable.

Because many products are handmade or produced in small batches, returns for change of mind are generally not accepted.

Vendor-Specific Policies

Some vendors may have additional or more specific return policies. These will be clearly noted on the product listing where applicable. Richter’s Market Co. works directly with vendors to resolve any issues fairly and efficiently.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the situation. Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to be processed once approved.

Final Notes

Richter’s Market Co. reserves the right to limit refunds in cases of repeated abuse of this policy. Our goal is to support both our customers and the local producers who make our marketplace possible.
