Richter’s Market Co. was founded on a simple idea: local food and handmade goods should be easy to access, and local makers deserve a modern way to reach their community.
Founded by brothers Jordon and Eli Richter, RMCo brings the spirit of the farmers’ market into a digital space strengthening local economies and making it easier to support local producers year-round.
Our Story
Growing up, Jordon and Eli spent countless weekends helping their parents at local markets and community events throughout Hastings & Prince Edward County. They learned early the value of hard work, quality, and connection watching firsthand how much care goes into growing food, crafting goods, and building relationships with customers.
Over time, they also saw the challenges small producers face: limited visibility, seasonal foot traffic, complex delivery logistics, and no single place for customers to shop local online.
Those early experiences shaped the vision for Richter’s Market Co. a marketplace built to support the people behind the products, while making it easier for families to choose local every day.
